We made holiday cards and candy gift bags for middle school students throughout Bridgeport. Thanks to all who came out!

Hey build On members!

It’s Charwan, your secretary,

I am very proud of how well CHS build On has been as far as the amount of members showing up to the community service and coming out to the meetings.  Also i would like to say congradulations to all of you who have helped raise money with Buy-A-Brick, we have raised $786 with Buy-A-Brick alone.

I encourage you to look for volunteering sites during the week if you are unable to make it to services on Saturdays. There are many places in Bridgeport that can use your help.

“Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It’s important to the person who serves as well as the recipient. It’s the way in which we ourselves grow and develop.”
Dr. Dorothy I. Height, president and CEO of the NCNW

I like the new look

Hello, buildOn members.

I can see that you have been using the blog site. I love the new look :)
Very informative, especially, to any potential members who can, now, view a list of club officers and the mission of this organization. I like the inclusion of pictures. I can see that you’re having a great time supporting a good cause. I am planning to post some info about this blog on the bulletin board by the cafeteria. When you announce any activities, please,
mention the buildOn blog.

Did I mention that I think you are all amazing? Keep up the good work!

From: Dr. Pagan
(Central teacher advisor)

P.S.
Can I get a copy of the pictures from the March against Violence activity?
I would like to post them on our bulletin
board (especially after the gun incident here)

Central dominated at the March against Violence Saturday 10/31/09 with 26 members of 50 within 8 schools. You guys are amazing. For those of you who have not did your 8 – hours, please come see a buildOn officer.

buildOn Meetings

Thanks to all the members who showed up the service on 10/31/09.
You guys are amazing!
Don’t forget to attend the meetings every Wednesday in room A109 to keep posted on the upcoming events!

Hey Build On great job

hey build on great job

Have fun at the Multi-Cultural Event tomorrow

Hello, buildOn members!

I hope you like our new blog site. I am so proud of you.
I have heard that our Central High School club has grown larger than other regional clubs. To help you communicate with each other and any
potential members, I have asked Central to link this blogging site to our school webpage. Now our officers can keep members up-to-date on any current events without having to call everyone by phone. This also keeps me posted since I can’t meet with you on Wednesdays :( Keep up the good work! See ya soon. :)

(Central teacher advisor)
